Turn your trash and broken stuff into moving vehicles, toys, or something with a purpose! Session 1) 3:00pm - 4pm Grades K-4th, Session 2) 4:15pm - 5:15 Grades 5th-8th
Science of Sewing Tuesdays
Learn to hand sew and embroider like a surgeon with almost anything: clothing, shoes, lampshades and even using electronics! Session 1) 3:00pm - 4pm Grades K-4th, Session 2) 4:15pm - 5:15 Grades 5th-8th
Upcycled Art Wednesdays
Explore various art techniques using natural and manmade materials! Sculpture, printing, photography, Andy Goldsworthy! Session 1) 3:00pm - 4pm Grades K-4th, Session 2) 4:15pm - 5:15 Grades 5th-8th
Virtual Science Fair Thursdays
Choose a science or maker project and medium in which to present at our virtual fair in mid May: video, slides, photos OR a Drive-By Science Fair in the Maker Lab Parking Lot May 16!! Stay Tuned!!! Class includes testing, steps and presentation techniques. Session 1) 3:00pm - 4pm Grades K-4th, Session 2) 4:15pm - 5:15 Grades 5th-8th
DIY Vending Machines & Dispensers Fridays
Candy dispensers, mini ATMs, gumball machines, the toy claw machine...Advanced students will learn to motorize their designs. Session 1) 3:00pm - 4pm Grades K-4th, Session 2) 4:15pm - 5:15 Grades 5th-8th
Drop-In Sampler
This would be ideal for makers with virtual learning experience or those who have done some previous making with Ms. Papini. 24hr notice would be preferred in order to help planning.
